NextGen New York
NextGen is a community of volunteers dedicated to supporting The Trevor Project’s mission to end suicide among LGBTQ youth by serving as an entry point for programmatic volunteers, spreading awareness about The Trevor Project’s services, supporting leadership development and advocacy for the LGBTQ community, encouraging lasting engagement with The Trevor Project by building fellowship and camaraderie amongst our diverse group of volunteers, and fundraisingGET INVOLVED
Trevor NextGen members create a welcoming presence for LGBTQ youth during local PRIDE celebrations by recruiting volunteers for tabling and parades.
Panel discussions, guest speaker events, and community outreach are just some of the ways Trevor NextGen members make an impact in their city.
Events help support the life-saving programs offered by The Trevor Project. They’re a great way to engage individual, corporate, and community supporters who may want to make a difference in a young person’s future!
Local advocacy that works to support LGBTQ young people can be lifechanging. NextGen members are encouraged to collaborate with suicide prevention partners nationwide.
